Aldea Coffee

HEY FRIEND, IT’S SO NICE TO MEET YOU!

We’re Aldea Coffee, a locally-owned, Certified B Corp™ coffee company based here in West Michigan.

Our organization began in 2009 as a nonprofit in La Unión, Honduras, where we continue to work to better the lives of the community and coffee producers that live there.

We now have two cafés along the lakeshore, in Muskegon & Grand Haven.

And source the majority of our coffee directly from the farmers in La Unión and roast it all in our solar-powered roastery near downtown Muskegon.

Who we are

We are a fully integrated coffee company. From our non-profit in the mountains of Honduras, to our solar-powered coffee roastery and two cafes along the coast of Lake Michigan, we work with individual farmers seeking to develop, grow, and process some of the world's most unique and intimately sourced specialty coffee.

our origin

Aldea Coffee began as a non-profit, (Aldea Development) in La Union, Honduras by working with coffee, corn, and bean farmers to provide microloans. Aldea Development still exists today, with our full-time staff living and working year-round in Honduras.

Everything we serve is crafted with great care. Our syrups are made from scratch in-house, and everything we can, we source as locally as possible.
