Coast Guard Week in Grand Haven means a lot of things: ships, carnival rides, traffic(!), food, and fun. Aldea Coffee enjoyed our fourth Coast Guard Festival by taking part in community activities, serving coffee to locals and lots of tourists, and by having fun. Tell us what you enjoyed most about Coast Guard Week in the comment section below. Elly and Daniel enjoy pizza at the Food Truck Rally hosted by the Grand Haven Elks Lodge. Last month Brittany visited Aldea Development in Honduras. While she was there she made friends (imagine that), saw the coffee farmers in action, and learned about our coffee production facility in that country. We're proud to participate in the Muskegon Farmers Market, one of the best markets in Michigan. Every week we're at the Muskegon Farmers Market we meet new friends and see old friends and vendors that make this part of the state a joy to live in.
We recently published a tribute to the Muskegon Farmers Market that includes a history of farmers markets in Muskegon, and highlights vendors that take part.
The Beaver Island Music Festival was started in 2003 because a few people wanted to hear "music in the woods." All these years later, the notes are still playing on this 13-mile long island located in the northern waters of Lake Michigan. The annual Festival will kick off on July 19 and run for three days with great music and appreciation for art and nature. According to the festival founders, Beaver Island Music Festival "promotes the variety and tradition of all music and art." Aldea Coffee will be at the Festival this year for the first time, serving cold brew, lemonade, and other assorted coffee drinks. The photo above shows Madi at our Muskegon facility making lemonade for the event....
We're excited to share a few of these amazing photos that our good friend, Josh Rexford took for us on a recent trip to Denver. He took the trip with Jordan and Amy, a recently engaged couple, who were so kind to wear our gear, and brew some coffee for this photo shoot. See more of Josh's work at www.JoshRexford.com
